Our Generational Story
Summit Kitchen and Bath was established in the year 2000 by founder Nick Charlwood. Since then, SKB has switched hands but remains one of the most reputable kitchen and bath remodelers in Summit County. See below to learn more about our history.

Summit Kitchen and Bath is established by Nick Charlwood as Summit County’s premier kitchen and bath remodeler.

Greg Johnson, former owner of (business in AZ), moves to the high country of Summit County, forms a business relationship with Charlwood and purchases Summit Kitchen and Bath.

Kevin Hurley, Summit County local, and current co-owner of SKB, begins working for Johnson as an Installer.

Christina Hurley, current co-owner of SKB, begins working for Johnson as an Assistant at SKB.

After 10 years at SKB and a combined (# years) in the kitchen and bath remodel business, Johnson decides takes a step down in order to make more time for his family and dogs. Knowing his legacy and his business will continue to be in good hands, SKB is turned over to his proteges Kevin and Christina Hurley.
